Collection
Whole-plant nutrition drawn from roots and vegetables, made simple to fold into the day.
Root and plant nutrition is our collection of whole-plant ingredients drawn from roots and vegetables. These are foods people already know, presented in convenient formats for a busy day. Each product lists its format, serving and nutrition information from verified documentation.
The collection begins with Beetroot. Beetroot (Beta vulgaris) naturally contains dietary nitrate and betalains, the pigments behind its deep crimson colour. The whole root also provides fibre, folate and potassium.
The form of a plant changes what it contains. For example, whole beets keep their fibre, while juice concentrates the sugars and nitrate. Dried powder is convenient and keeps well. However, its nitrate content depends on how the beets were grown and processed.
For that reason, the best products in this collection state the amount per serving clearly. We publish those details from supplier documentation and never estimate them. More roots, seeds and plant ingredients will join this collection over time.
