About our traditional botanicals

Traditional botanicals are the herbs, hulls, seeds and buds that people have used for generations. Each one in this collection has a documented history, and we tell that story plainly. You can read where a plant grows, which part is used and how it has been prepared over time.

Our first formula, Botanical Complex, is built around wormwood, black walnut hull and clove. These three traditional botanicals appear together in many herbal traditions. The softgel blend also includes pumpkin seed, garlic and oregano.

How we present traditional botanicals

Tradition tells us how people have used a plant. However, it is not the same as scientific evidence, so we keep the two apart. On every ingredient page we separate traditional use, preliminary research and established findings. As a result, you can see exactly what is known and what is not.

We also publish label details from verified supplier documents rather than estimates. That includes the scientific name, the part of the plant used and the amount per serving. If a detail is not confirmed yet, we say so.
