ASPHODEL Botanical Complex is an 18-in-1 wormwood, black walnut and clove blend in easy-to-take softgels. It brings together three botanicals with centuries of herbal tradition behind them, alongside familiar kitchen botanicals such as pumpkin seed, garlic and oregano.
Wormwood (Artemisia absinthium) is the famously bitter, silver-leaved herb of European apothecaries. Black walnut hull is the green husk around the nut of Juglans nigra, a North American hardwood. Clove is the dried flower bud of Syzygium aromaticum, the spice that once drove the trade routes of the Indian Ocean. Each one has its own ingredient page, so you can read its history before you choose.
In many herbal traditions, these plants are mentioned side by side. That shared history is the reason we built the formula around them. However, tradition is not evidence, and we keep the two clearly apart. For that reason, you will not find claims on this page that a botanical treats or prevents anything.
Beyond the core trio, the formula includes pumpkin seed, garlic and oregano, together with further botanicals listed in full on the supplier's label. Garlic and oregano are pillars of Mediterranean cooking. Pumpkin seed, meanwhile, is a nutrient-dense seed first domesticated in the Americas.
Botanical Complex is supplied as softgels. We publish the complete ingredient list, the amount of each botanical per serving and the Supplement Facts panel from the supplier's verified label, and we never estimate them. Please follow the directions on the label. Speak with a healthcare professional first if you are pregnant, nursing, taking medication or managing a health condition.
