ASPHODEL Soursop Bitters is a liquid herbal bitters inspired by Caribbean tradition. It brings together soursop, senna, sea moss, turmeric and ginger in a 16 fl oz (473 mL) amber glass bottle.
Across the Caribbean, herbal bitters and bush teas have long been part of everyday life, often taken in small amounts as a ritual around meals. Soursop leaf is one of the best-known botanicals in that tradition. We built Soursop Bitters around it, then added four botanicals with long histories of their own.
Soursop (Annona muricata) is the spiky tropical fruit and leaf of the Caribbean and Latin America. Senna (Senna alexandrina) is a traditional herbal laxative whose leaves and pods have been used for centuries. Sea moss (Chondrus crispus) is a red seaweed eaten in Irish and Caribbean kitchens. Turmeric and ginger are two warming rhizomes from the same plant family. Each one has its own ingredient page, so you can read its history and safety notes before you choose.
Senna is a stimulant laxative, so Soursop Bitters is intended for short-term use exactly as directed on the label. Do not take more than the stated serving, and do not use it for longer than a week unless a healthcare professional advises it. Speak with a healthcare professional first if you are pregnant, nursing, taking medication or managing a health condition, including a thyroid condition.
Soursop Bitters is supplied as a liquid in a 16 fl oz (473 mL) amber glass bottle, which helps protect the contents from light. We publish the complete ingredient list, serving size and Supplement Facts panel from the supplier's verified label, and we never estimate them.

Herbal bitters have a long place in Caribbean life, usually taken in small amounts around meals. Soursop Bitters follows that tradition with five botanicals, each with real history behind it, and we publish exactly what is inside, which part of each plant is used, and the safety notes you should know before you start.
Contains senna, a stimulant laxative. For short-term use only: do not use for more than 7 days unless directed by a healthcare professional. Do not use if you have abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, or a sudden change in bowel habits lasting more than 2 weeks. Stop use and consult a healthcare professional if you experience rectal bleeding or no bowel movement after use. Not for children. Do not use if pregnant or nursing. Consult a healthcare professional before use if you take medication (including blood thinners), have a thyroid condition, gallbladder problems or any medical condition. Avoid excessive or prolonged use. Keep out of reach of children. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
